Eric Engstrom
Prior to founding Wildseed, Eric worked at Microsoft for eight years. During that time he co-invented DirectX, the most rapidly adopted technology in Microsoft history and an inspiration for Microsoft's Xbox. He subsequently became the General Manager of DirectX media and ChromEffects. Next, Eric assumed the role of General Manager for MSN Internet Access. He energized MSN by tripling the subscriber base and by putting the business on a sustainable growth course. Eric's adventures at Microsoft are chronicled in the book Renegades of the Empire. Eric is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Catalytic Software, Ltd., a software services company, and Xoucin, a software Intellectual Property think tank.
